The Atrium Shopping Centre in the Tamworth CBD were very excited to have secured a gaggle of ten (10) Segway PT Units™ that were here in Tamworth for the July school holidays from 2nd to 17th July 2011.

A Segway PT Unit is a two (2) wheeled, electric driven and gyroscopically controlled platform, self-balancing personal transportation device.

This was the first time ever that these amazing hi-tech machines became available to the Tamworth general public.

The Atrium Shopping Centre ran ½ hour basic glide sessions from 9:00am every day over the duration of the school holidays.

Segway PT Units are completely safe, can be operated by absolute novice beginners with no experience at all and just about everyone could have a go.
